Hello guys I'm back after 1 month stop write blog because I must focus about my study in Japan. Today I want share about my first solo trip to Huis Ten Bosch. As you know, I really love nature place that's why I'm so excited to visit Huis Ten Bosch in Nagasaki although I must go alone because all of my friends only interest visit Tokyo and they didn't like went to small city in Japan..
I stay in hotel near Sasebo because Huis Ten Bosch located in 1-1 Huis Ten Bosch-cho, Sasebo, Nagasaki Prefecture. If you stay in Sasebo area, you can use JR Sasebo Line to Huis Ten Bosch Station.. only ¥ 280.
Before you decided visit Huis Ten Bosch pleace check the weather forecast first, because Huis Ten Bosch area is so big and you need 1 day to explore all of them.. The stupid things .. I'm forget to check weather forecast before come and I come here when raining and strong winds.
From the station you must walk 15 minutes to ticket gate. What I like when walking in Huis Ten Bosch area is there are so much beautiful views so you can take more photos near there.
There also have Hotel near Huis Ten Bosch area such as :
Hotel Nikko Huis Ten Bosch ( ¥16,552 ), Hotel Okura JR Huis Ten Bosch ( ¥19,291 ),
Watermark Hotel Nagasaki, Huis Ten Bosch ( ¥19,601 ), Huis Ten Bosch-Hotel ForestVilla, Huis Ten Bosch-Hotel Europe, Huis Ten Bosch-Hotel Amsterdam.. But the problem is more expensive for me as a student in Japan.
Huis Ten Bosch (ハウステンボス, House in the Wood) is a theme park in Nagasaki Prefecture which recreates a Dutch town. It is named after one of the residences of the Dutch Royal Family. The spacious resort is suffused with a European atmosphere with its picturesque canals, iconic windmills, beautiful gardens and architecture.

Paid attractions typically costs 300 to 1000 yen each.

Huis Ten Bosch features authentic, recreated Dutch-style buildings and squares, canals, restaurants, shops, windmills and gardens planted with seasonal blooms. Huis Ten Bosch's extensive gardens contain 300,000 flowers and around 400,000 trees. Located on Hario Island, facing Omura Bay, south of Sasebo, the park can be toured on foot, rental bicycle or on a Segway tour.
There are seven different sections which can be visited. This includes:
Huis Ten Bosch Flower Road: Located at the entrance of the park and includes flower with windmills along with some eating establishments.
Huis Ten Bosch Attraction Town: First main attraction heavy area (rides) with many restaurants and shops.
Huis Ten Bosch Adventure Park: An area located on the side of Flower Road with outdoor type activities. This area will be of minimal interest to most.
Huis Ten Bosch Art Garden: Another garden area with nice cafes and bars overlooking a large white ferris wheel.
Huis Ten Bosch Thriller City: Smaller area with many attractions. This location looks at it's best at night. Some restaurants are located here.
Huis Ten Bosch Tower City: Home to the large Domtoren Tower and many restaurants.
Huis Ten Bosch Amsterdam City: Home to many restaurants and shops
Huis Ten Bosch Harbour Town: Home to the water park, restaurants, shops and ferry to Nagasaki. You can also access Palace Huis Ten Bosch from here. This area is free to enter.
It should be noted that even though there are many attractions, there are no roller coasters here but there are some really good attractions in the Thriller City and Attraction Town that makes up for this. The park in general looks at it's best at night - but it's worth visiting the main website as it's not open at night all year round.

One of my favorite place in Huis Ten Bosch is Teddy Bear Kingdom ! I'm feel like is the most instagrammable spots in Nagasaki
Huis Ten Bosch's numerous restaurants offer Dutch, French, Italian, Chinese, Italian and Japanese food and there are lots of cafes to grab a panino, fries and Heineken beer from Holland.
The many garden areas throughout the theme park display seasonal flowers: tulips in spring, roses in summer as well as Christmas lights in winter.
For me, Huis Ten Bosch is the best place to see Tulips in Japan and one of best flower fields to visit in spring.

At around 6PM the park was transformed into a light and sound show like no other. Many areas provided story like projection mapping and even the canals were turned into colorful photogenic reflections. Please also check Huis Ten Bosch illumination - the kingdom of the light in the next post
