NYX Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick Review & Lip Swatches

Today I want to review NYX Lip Lingerie Liquid. I have been trying these out for a good couple of months so I definitely have my opinions on these liquid lipsticks. So like any other liquid lipstick this has a liquid to matte formula that is supposed to be super long wearing and have full nude colour. 

The NYX Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick describes these as: Slip into something seductive with Lip Lingerie, our new weightless liquid lipstick with a plush matte finish. Available in a range of color-kissed nudes—from cinnamon pink and chocolate brown, to warm mahogany red and classic nude beige—each sultry shade will coat the curves of your lips with irresistibly creamy color.

Packaging

These liquid lipsticks are packaged like a lipgloss which comes with a doe foot applicator. The doe foot applicator is slightly longer and skinnier compared to the applicator in their soft matte lip cream. I feel that the applicator with the NYX Lingerie liquid lipsticks allows you to really shape your cupid's bow for a cleaner look. The liquid lipsticks were also individually plastic sealed for safety.

How to Use NYX Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick

1. Prep your lips prior to application

2. Use the tip of the applicator to outline your lips

3. Fill in your lips

4. Don’t layer it on too thick, one layer is enough

NYX Lip Lingerie Formula

I have Lace detail and Exotic. These are a thicker liquid to matte, so apply a thin layer carefully and allow to set. This product dries out my lips and accentuates the dryness , but it's as easy as putting lip balm or a similar shade lipstick underneath to fix that problem

NYX Lip Lingerie Pigmentation and Lasting Power

I find the pigmentation good, & the lasting power is very good. These are complimentry to every skin tone. I didn't realize there could be so many shades of nude. Very matte and don't move once dry. 

My fave shades is NYX Lip Lingerie Lace detail, which is the Nude pink beige. I don’t feel like I look like I’ve got concealer on my lips wearing it, but it’s still completely neutral for my skin tone. I’ve been wearing this one for make ombre lip

Overall, they lasted a really long time with no transfer at all.  If you're looking for a sort of dark and nude color, NYX Lip Lingerie is a really good option! If you have drier lips like I do, the Lip Lingerie might not be the best option because they are kind of drying, but it's as easy as putting lip balm or a similar shade lipstick underneath to fix that problem. They're also a little sticky when they dry down, which can be a little annoying, but I wouldn't avoid this product because of that. !
