The Face Shop CC Oil Control Water Cushion My Other Bag

The Face Shop collaborated with My Other Bag an eco-friendly brand which makes premium canvas totes with hand printed “designer” bags on them and produced 3 different types of CC cushions using their designs based famous designer bags. Today I am sharing with you my first impression of the CC No Sebum Moisture Cushion from The Face Shop x My Other Bag collection

Description

- Pure and clear water and pure oxygen water gives vitality on tired skin giving bright clear skin finish. 

- Cotton powder with sebum absorbing blooming rose control sun sebum with Citrus unshiu Markovich ingredient to prevent from darkening and stickiness. 

- Long lasting cushion light on skin and strong on sweat and sebum.

Packaging

The packaging is really adorable. It comes in a portable compact case, with a mirror and a dual air puff. The base of the compact is in a golden color and even the puff has the My Other Bag X The Face Shop inscription.

APPLICATION

Application is easy—you press the air puff into the cushion, and then pat the foundation onto your face as you would with a sponge. I've watched a ton of Korean makeup gurus use cushions, and all of them do a patting motion when using the air puff, so I did as well. This way the application would be even and there won't be any streaks. The air puff was really good, it doesn't absorb foundation as much as normal sponges do.

Texture

Face Shop CC Cushion have a lightweight texture and it dries quickly to somewhere between dewy and matte finish, I think. I dislike matte base products, because I feel it makes my skin look dead. 

Coverage

Coverage is pretty decent. I'd say light to medium, depending on how much you put on, as it's buildable. I applied one layer first, but with just that my acne scars were still visible, so I did two layers. It can look a bit cakey when you use too much though, so you'll need to blend it out well.

This is nothing like the CC Intense Cover Cushion that I have tried previously. The CC No Sebum Moisture Cushion works amazingly on oily skin, it has a thin formula that applies smoothly and evenly, it brightens and blurs imperfection while being lightweight and comfortable to wear.
