CHARIS Korean Beauty Box

If you have been reading my blog for a few years you will know I love to try out Korean beauty products! I find them fun and actually high in quality! Today I have a Korean Beauty Box from Charis.

CHARIS platform with the mission of maintaining the beauty of its customers around the world and carefully handpick the most reliable and effective premium products. The first time I heard and joined CHARIS is when i attended STYLECONASIA Event. 

Since this is the first beauty box from CHARIS, I didn’t really know what to expect, but as soon as I opened the box, I'm really excited by the contents. I found all the brands in the box are new to me, all products of course a Korean brand. And here are the products that they sent to me.

Modi Juicy Nails and Blending Puff

These sponge also comes in a plastic container which I find very helpful during travel and also keeps the sponge safe from absorbing dust and dirt. I quite honestly do find the dabbing very helpful. I just dab a few spots of foundation on my face, then rub the sponge all over my face to achieve an even blended finish. Its much easier, quick and less time consuming. The wider base helps covering larger areas like foundation application all over the face. While the narrower pointy top helps in concealer application close to nose and under eye area. 

Dr. Flora-Flora Cream White Freshness

As fresh food is good for heath, fresh cosmetics are good for skin. The organic cosmetics filled with organic floral water, are made carefully for your family.

The best way to prevent your skin from getting old is to block of the UV rays. Klavuu creates an approach to daily protection against UV and recovers tired skin. Tips on usage :

1. Apply to your skin at the last stage of your basic skin care routine. Apply the lotion 15 to 30 minutes before going outside.

2. It is most effective to apply the sunscreen every 3 to 4 hours. Protect your skin from time, not from the season.

3. It is important to cleanse off the sunscreen after you are done with your day. The Divine Pearl Cleansing Oil and Revitalizing Facial Cleansing Foam allows you to perfectly wash everything off of your face.

Overall, This box seemed largely skincare oriented, which is unsurprising given the emphasis that Korean brands seem to put on skincare. This box was also interesting for me because it was a new brands - I had never tried anything by KLAVUU, Glamskin, or Dr. Flora prior to receiving it.

As someone who likes to try random Korean skincare stuff anyway just for the hell of it, CHARIS is absolutely a dream beauty box. But I could see it being a fun treat even if you're not experienced with Korean brands. If you love a product that's in your box, you can also purchase it directly on the Charis site
