Review: Etude House Color Lips-Fit #PK001 and #OR202

 

Etude House released the Etude House Color Lips-fit lipsticks from their Spring 2014 collection today. This is a revolutionary liquid type lipstick that moistly glides onto lips with its vivid color and finishes off with a weightless powdery texture.

Directions :
Shake well before use.
Apply smoothly with tip. Lightly dab onto center of the lips for gradation. Delicately apply for full color.
Apply a layer of Color Lips-fit WH901 after color for moist gloss.

I get a newly product Etude House Color Lips-Fit liquid lipsticks from Etude Recipe. Of the 7 available shades, I chose PK001 Magical Fit Pink and OR202 Wanna Fit Orange. So let’s talk about the Color Lips-fit lipsticks !

Packaging :

The Color Lips-Fit lipsticks come in a thick and short tube (10 grams) with a doe-foot applicator. The colour of the tube is essentially the shade you get, while the lid is opaque white for all the lipsticks. And, as usual, Etude House always come with the simple, and cute packaging, plus it nicely fits the feel of the spring season, especially with the fresh faces of Sulli and Krystal from K-pop girl group f(x).

The Scent and tastes :

Is acceptable, not overwhelming with fragrance.

Pigmentation :

The pigmentation was better than I expected. The colour is super pigmented! You only need a little bit for your lips

Consistency :

At first, the lipstick is a glossy liquid texture and slowly dries to a more powdery, matte finish. I like the consistency, and it's fairly light-weight and isn't too drying. But if you like a shiny lip colour, I would not suggest this product. Also, because this product dries matte you have to have hydrated lips or you will see every crack and dryness in your lips.

Staying Power : Regular
This is not a big issue for me since these are not claimed to be long-lasting. After eating, I noticed that the colour wore away in very unflattering patches, and my lips looked quite dry. Reapplication is a minor chore in itself.

Sorry, my lips are really thin, so it’s hard to see the lip colour fully

Comes in really pretty spring colours
Only need to use a little of this product
Light, you don’t really feel like your wearing anything on your lips

Cons :

Difficult to remove
It dries matte
Not long-lasting
